On Saturday 6th July 2013 we celebrated our 2nd birthday with forty members family & friends. Thhe weather was unduly kind to us to such an extent that the Karaoke session which is very popular was postponed until Christmas as iot wastoo energy sapping to think about.
Mick got
everybody going with a Quiz in the sun after whioch we retired out of the heat for lunch o of cold buffet fruit and icecream followed by a slice or two of this fabulous birthday cake which I ( Mike) managed to damage getting it back from Dalston in the steaming hot sun. Despite the fact that iot was a little mangled nit went down well (and quickly). We wrapped up the day with two storming sessions of bingo and a relaxed stroll home after another successful day.
